We’re often influenced by chefs, celebrities, and celebrity chefs. But here at Allrecipes, we—the editorial team—are also influenced by this incredible online community of home cooks who never hold back on how they really feel about a new recipe or grocery item. Our editorial team doesn’t hold back either. And I’m often influenced by just how passionate fellow editors get about a new food find. That kind of joy is contagious—even on your worst days.

When Bailey Fink, arguably Sam’s Club’s No. 1 fan, tells you warehouse sushi is legit, you listen. When Andrea Lobas says her family couldn’t stop eating a new Reese’s item, you stock up. And when proud midwesterner Carmella D’Acquisto says to make Cherry Bounce just like Wisconsin’s Door County, you clear out some Bonne Mamam jars and do it. (My first batch was ready just in time for Winter Solstice.)

Without listening to other editors’ gush about new finds and returning hits, I’d never know what I’ve missed at the grocery store—that Poppi’s seasonal Cranberry Fizz is now my all-time favorite soda or that my opinion on the best fast food soft serve dessert is completely wrong, and that I really need to give Culver’s Concrete Mixer another try. I’m still not convinced on that one, but here are five finds that did win me over this year. These items made their way into my cart because another editor loved them first. And now they’re my favorite, too.

My Top 5 Editor-Loved Grocery Items of 2025

Olipop x Fruit Riot Candy Crunch Cherries

    Fruit Riot / Allrecipes

Mary-Linh Tran always digs deeper into trends in the food world, from international soda quietly rolling out in the U.S. to pieces of history that remind us that some trends aren’t so novel at all. And she has a knack for finding the hidden gems at the grocery store, like when she pitched the Fruit Riot x Olipop collab at Whole Foods earlier this year during a news meeting. Unlike Fruit Riot’s sour frozen fruit portfolio, these frozen cherries are coated with Olipop’s Vintage Cola flavor for a bite-sized cherry cola vibe that’s cold, crunchy, and unlike any other frozen treat I’ve had.

Trader Joe’s Non-Dairy Cinnamon Bun Oat Creamer

This may be the best coffee creamer I’ve ever had, and I would have never tried it if I didn’t edit the story on it from Stephanie Meraz. It’s so dang good and totally pulls off the cinnamon and cream cheese icing flavors. And the price is right at just $2. Stephanie is always keeping an eye out for the best TJ’s finds and spotted this returning hit that I’ve definitely been sleeping on.

    Mallomars

    Nabisco

Courtney Kassel is arguably the in-house candy expert—especially when it comes to gummies. But it was this throwback find she wrote about that piqued my interest. I’d never heard of Mallomars, however, I love heritage snack brands and companies that haven’t changed a recipe in decades, so I had to give these a try. I’m normally not a marshmallow fan, but there’s something about the cookie base and chocolate coating that makes it all work like an inside-out s’more. If you’ve never tried these OG treats, snag them before they leave store shelves again.

    Goldfish Snoopy Peppermint Cocoa Grahams

Annie Campbell always takes the heartwarming stories, from nostalgic collabs to beloved traditions to new candy with a cozy vibe. So, when Annie flagged the new Goldfish Snoopy Peppermint Cocoa Grahams as the “best new snack of the season,” I believed her. I’ll buy anything with a “Peanuts” label on it, but these really are tasty and have the perfect balance of peppermint flavor without tipping into toothpaste territory.

JusRol Rich & Buttery Pie Crust

    Allrecipes / JusRol

Samantha Dillard is one of the savviest shoppers, as she’s constantly scouring Aldi Finds, comparing prices on brands at various retailers, and just casually dropping mind-blowing tips in stories like how you can bake two Pillsbury cookies on top of each other to create a mega sugar cookie that still holds its shape. Another great find? The JusRol pie crust she covered earlier this year. I’m not too proud to admit that I always use a store-bought pie crust (However, I make whipped cream from scratch, and that’s a non-negotiable.), and Samantha put this nifty brand on my radar. Unlike other pre-made, store-bought pastry dough, JusRol is already prepared on parchment paper, so, as the name implies, you simply just roll it across your pie pan and your ready to bake. Genius.
