Burger King Has an All-New Whopper Inspired by Customers

While most people tend to reserve their excitement about commercials for Super Bowl Sunday, Burger King doesn’t save its big ads for those multi-million dollar spots. And we’d like to think it pays off, since after any given football game, most of us have the “Whopper, Whopper, Whopper, Whopper” jingle in our heads—or at the very least the “at B-K, have it your way” jingle.

But “have it your way” isn’t just a catchy jingle; it’s a slogan that Burger King abides by. Whether it’s bringing internationally loved items to the U.S. menu or re-releasing menu items after their discontinuation, BK is constantly allowing fans to inform its menu.

Burger King’s commitment to its fans is best demonstrated by its Whopper By You platform, launched in 2025, which allows guests to submit their dream Whopper creations for a chance to see that burger on menus. In 2025, Burger King released two Whoppers inspired by fan submissions, the BBQ Brisket Whopper and the Crispy Onion Whopper, and now, it’s ringing in 2026 with an all-new customer-inspired burger.

Burger King is now offering the Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper. Plus, it’s bringing back apple pies, which haven’t been sold on menus since 2020, in a whole new way with the Cinnamon Apple Pie.

The new Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper expands on the Steakhouse Bacon Whopper that the chain released last February. BK’s new burger starts with a flame-grilled patty that’s topped with crispy onion rings, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and peppercorn aioli on a toasted sesame bun.

Burger King promises that the Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper will be the first of several more Whopper By You creations in the pipeline this year—and you can still submit your dream Whopper on Burger King’s site.

As for the Cinnamon Apple Pie, it’s a cross between the fast food restaurant’s discontinued Dutch Apple Pie and the old-school fried apple pies, originally sold at chains like McDonald’s and Popeyes. The fried hand pie features a crispy crust stuffed with cinnamon apple pie filling and is served warm.

Both the Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper and Cinnamon Apple Pie are available at Burger King restaurants nationwide now for a limited time. New year, same chance to have it your way at BK.
