Google Ads is rolling out new location targeting options for Demand Gen campaigns, matching the controls already available in Search. What’s new. You can choose between Presence or interest and Presence when setting up Demand Gen campaigns. The option appears directly in the campaign interface, removing the need for manual exclusions. Why we care. Until now, Demand Gen advertisers had limited control over geotargeting. By making presence targeting native to campaign setup, Google removes a common workaround and reduces the risk of accidental geo-leakage. The result is cleaner traffic, more accurate measurement, and greater confidence in upper-funnel Demand Gen performance.…

Existing approaches primarily focus on compressing KV caches within a single prompt or reusing shared prefixes or frequently ocurred text segments across prompts. However, such strategies are limited in scenarios where prompts are semantically…
Welcome to the internet’s biggest night. The 2025 TikTok Awards are officially underway, transforming the platform’s endlessly scrolling For You Page into a live, IRL spectacle. Tonight, the creators, artists, memes, and moments that defined the past year online are stepping out of our phones and onto one stage — and Mashable is on the ground, covering the show live from the red carpet and inside the Hollywood venue with real-time updates as the night unfolds. This marks the first-ever U.S. TikTok Awards, and fittingly, it feels less like a traditional ceremony and more like a feed brought to life. That’s…
AI is having a moment. It’s hard to escape ChatGPT entering your conversations, whether you’re at a coffee shop or a club. While it’s important not to view it as a god-like being with higher powers, it’s also no good to bury your head in the sand. You should play around with AI to see its possibilities and limits. Be curious, experimental and have fun with it. There are some things you definitely shouldn’t use ChatGPT for, such as health diagnoses and legal decisions, but there are plenty of tasks and to-dos it’s great for. ChatGPT isn’t alone out there. You…
This Cranberry-Ginger Spritz is easy to batch for parties with just three ingredients. You can offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions of the drink using the same simple recipe.Spicy ginger beer gives each glass a lively kick and the drink looks festive thanks to cranberry or cherry juice. Whenever I’m hosting a party (or tasked with bringing the drinks), I often think big and boozy. Batched negronis or a bourbon punch? So fun! But in recent years, I’ve adjusted my thinking on party sips and follow a couple of key rules: consider the audience and consider the length of the party.…

Gemini 3 models into Google AI Studio, I’ve been experimenting with it quite a bit. In fact, I find the concept of generative UI surprisingly useful for data scientists to streamline day-to-day work. In this post, I’ll share four concrete ways (with video demos!) of how you can leverage this tool (or other similar tools) to: Learn new concepts faster, Build interactive prototypes for stakeholder exploration, Communicate complex ideas more clearly, Boost your productivity with personalized tools. Let’s dive in. In case you haven’t tried it yet: Google AI Studio is Google’s browser-based workspace for building apps with their Gemini…

Byte-Sized Brief Malicious Firefox add-ons hid code inside logo files. They collected thousands of installs before removal.Free VPNs and ad blockers were some of the covers. A browser add-on can carry more risk than you might think. Security researchers recently uncovered a malware campaign called GhostPoster that hid malicious code inside the logo files of over a dozen Firefox extensions. The add-ons, which were pitched as everyday tools like free VPNs or ad blockers, were downloaded more than 50,000 times before being taken down. After installation, the extensions waited days before activating and only ran some of the time to avoid…
Before I became a mother a year and half ago, mealtime mostly meant assembling “girl dinners” or overspending on Postmates. As a result, I was unprepared for the sheer logistical load of feeding a family every day: the planning, the shopping, the cooking, the cleaning. It’s a lot.And because I came into motherhood with so little kitchen experience, my learning curve has been expensive. Trying new, often overly ambitious recipes my son won’t eat—and therefore I’ll never make again—means wasted food, time, and energy, all of which ultimately amount to lighting cash (and my sanity) on fire.So when I learned…
