Just in time for the new year, Apple Fitness Plus announced fresh additions to its workout catalog. Starting Jan. 5, subscribers will be able to enjoy the latest workout programs designed to help you get back into an exercise routine, as well as a couple of new Time to Walk episodes, guest trainers and artist spotlights.

Apple’s popular workout platform added digital dubbing to its classes in December, allowing members to take classes in Spanish, German and Japanese, which expanded its targeted audience.

For the new year, members will be able to enjoy four new workout programs:

A mobile device has the fitness app open. The selected program is called Make Your Fitness Comeback, which features a person in the middle of working out.

Get back into fitness this new year with Apple Fitness Plus.

Make Your Fitness Comeback: Designed for users looking to return to exercising, featuring workouts such as strength training, HIIT and yoga.

The Strength Basics in 3 Weeks: This program launches Jan. 12 and is designed to help users learn the fundamentals of strength training if they’re new or returning to the exercise. It includes three workouts per week, focusing on different body parts each week so that you learn the exercise technique and form.

Back-to-Back Strength and HIIT: The Back-to-Back Strength and HIIT program offers three 20-minute workouts, pairing these two popular workout types together for 10 minutes of strength and 10 minutes of HIIT. You’ll be able to enjoy these workouts three times per week for three weeks.

Build a Yoga Habit in 4 Weeks: This program is designed for individuals who want to incorporate yoga into their fitness routine more regularly. They’ll have access to two 10-minute flows each week.

Additionally, members will have help remaining consistent by having the option to create a more personalized experience with scheduled, premade, custom plans. These plans will allow members to program their workout days, preferred form of workouts, workout length, favorite music and trainers.

Other 2026 Apple Fitness Plus additions

On a mobile device, the Fitness Plus app is pulled up, with the artist spotlight as Karol G.

KAROL G will be featured in Apple Fitness Plus Artist Spotlight series.

For those who love artist spotlights, they can look forward to hearing Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter KAROL G during their workouts. On Feb. 2, in time for the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime show, members can enjoy a Bad Bunny spotlight series.

If you listen to Apple Fitness Plus’s Time to Walk series, new episodes will feature actors Michelle Monaghan, Penn Badgley and musical artist Mel B. If you’re also a fan of Fitness Plus’s workout guests series, you can expect popular social creator Allie Bennett to host a treadmill strut workout, dancers and twin brothers Luke and Paul Harwerth to partake in a dance workout and cookbook author Remy Park to lead a yoga workout.

Apple Watch and AirPods Pro 3 users will be able to view their personal metrics on screen during workouts. The data featured will include a burn bar to track calories burned, heart rate and an activity ring progress. This will also let users see how their stats compare to others who have taken the same class for some friendly competition.

Apple Fitness Plus is available on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. These new features will launch on Jan. 5.
