The November sales season is the best time of year to pick up one of the best phones, with retailers and mobile networks offering Black Friday-specific SIM-free and contract deals, respectively.

    • Shop Amazon’s full Black Friday sale

Amazon, for instance, is currently offering the budget-friendly iPhone 16e for just £499 (was £599), while at Sky, you can grab 40GB of data for just £10 per month, which can be applied to all of the best iPhones and best Android phones.

I’m TechRadar’s Phones Editor, and below, I’ve detailed these Black Friday phone deals and many more, to help you snag the biggest discounts on the phones I’ve been recommending all year. Happy shopping!

Which storage capacity should you choose?

If you’re shopping for the latest iPhones, Apple now offers 256GB of storage as standard with all iPhone 17 models, but for previous-generation iPhones or devices from other brands, I recommend choosing 256GB of storage over 128GB.

Why? Because apps and photos are now larger than ever before, and they’re only set to get bigger. Specifically, as phone cameras have become more advanced, photos captured with them have gotten larger in size, and apps, too, have ballooned in size thanks to new features, higher-quality graphics, and more regular updates.

If you’re not someone who plans to take loads of photos and download loads of storage-hungry apps, then 128GB of storage may be an acceptable capacity for you. But for 90% of users, I’d advise playing it safe with a 256GB model.
