5 ways to automate Gamma with Zapier

You could pour hours into perfecting your presentations. But if the slides themselves look messy or off-brand, your message might not land with your audience. If you think you don’t have the time to play the idea generator and designer, there’s good news—you don’t need to be. With Gamma, you can create AI-generated decks that captivate your audience (and you don’t even need a background in design).

For presentations that pull from your actual data, you’ll want to connect Gamma to your other apps. And for that, there’s Zapier. We’ve put together five ways to build Zaps—what we call automated workflows—that’ll accelerate your Gamma processes and get you to “done” faster. Keep scrolling for the exact Zap templates you can use to start building today.

    Skip ahead

Turn meeting notes into recap decks

Your teammates won’t always be available to attend every scheduled meeting. They might be out of office or have to step out of a team sync early for an appointment. And let’s be honest—sometimes, they only need a specific nugget of information from one part of the meeting discussion.

For these situations, creating a polished recap deck can give your teammates what they need without them having to make the time commitment for a video call. The problem? Creating that deck when you’re already busy putting together the actual meeting isn’t always feasible.

These Zaps handle that automatically. When a meeting wraps, Gamma creates a deck based on what was discussed, so anyone who missed the meeting will be able to catch up. Attendees might also find the deck useful for skimming decisions and action items instead of relying on their memory alone.

Pro tip: With filters, you can generate presentations just for specific meetings. You can also add another step to post the Gamma deck link to the relevant Slack channel, so your team can see the recap right away. Just remember to add a delay step before posting—Gamma might need a few minutes to finish creating the presentation.

Create enablement decks from docs and wikis

If you’re in sales enablement, you might already be up to your neck in content creation, putting together messaging docs and competitive intel and the like. So what are you supposed to do when your content needs an accompanying deck, and you don’t have time to spare?

Rather than double your workload, you can automatically create an enablement deck every time you publish a Google Doc, Confluence page, or Notion page in a specific folder. You don’t need to pull in the design team for help, either. Just set up a Zap that lets Gamma whip up the whole presentation for you, so sales gets all the details they need in a beautifully packaged deck.

Turn customer notes into a QBR presentation

Your quarterly business review (QBR) is coming up, but there’s a problem: all your status updates, wins, and questions live scattered across your CRM notes. To spread those notes across polished slides that flow requires thoughtful consideration and time. And with multiple QBRs lined up, you and your designer just don’t have the bandwidth.

If that sounds familiar, you can use these Zaps to trigger Gamma whenever a QBR is scheduled in your CRM. Gamma will build you a deck from your template, pulling in your history, open opportunities, and key metrics—but you’ll never have to scramble to assemble your notes. Just delegate the work to automation and AI, and watch as your customers stay impressed with you, quarter after quarter.

Meeting with customers at some other cadence? To define your own frequency for pulling together a deck, just use Schedule by Zapier as your trigger app.

Create personalized sales decks from forms

The first time a customer reaches out for a discovery call or a demo, your response sets the tone for the entire relationship (and determines whether they’ll actually become a paying customer). If you plan to get on a call with them, it’ll help to win them over if you show up with a stunning deck that answers their questions and addresses their objections. Of course, preparing such a deck and making sure it represents your brand well may take more time and effort than you have available—unless you automate the process.

Connect Gamma to Zapier and your forms app, and you’ll have ready-made presentations generated just minutes after someone reaches out. So while the lead’s still hot, you’ll be fully prepared to engage.

Pro tip: Want to personalize your sales deck further? Add a step to enrich the company domain with industry, size, and funding using an app like Clearbit. You can also add a step to attach the Gamma deck link to your CRM, so reps have the presentation ready to go. (Just remember to add a delay step before this last action—Gamma may need a few minutes to create the deck.)

Compile new blog posts into carousels for social media

Your social media team might be full of inventive ideas, but even your most creative teammates can hit a wall. Coming up with fresh, engaging topics to post about consistently might be expected of them—but after a while, burnout can take its toll. There’s an easy way to prevent that: using AI and automation for inspiration.

When you automate Gamma with tools like WordPress and Wix, you can create a presentation for every new blog post that goes live—giving your social media team an instant carousel they can turn into multiple posts on the spot. Alternatively, you can connect your blog (or blogs you follow) to RSS by Zapier. That way, whenever a new item hits the feed, Gamma creates a deck for a carousel, so the ideas keep flowing even if your social team runs out of juice.

Turn your thoughts into showstopping decks with Gamma and Zapier

AI tools like Gamma are making great design accessible to all. And with these Zap templates, you’ve got one-click solutions for making your presentation dreams come to life in just a few minutes.

But with thousands of Zapier integrations, there’s so much more you can build. Head to the Zap editor to craft your perfect workflow today.
