It’s true, I’ll never get tired of ordering from Chipotle. Its burrito bowls, brimming with rice, lettuce, black beans, and chicken or beef, with a bag of crunchy tortilla chips will always be my go-to. Oh, and the chain’s quesadillas? Don’t sleep on those either, especially with some fresh guacamole on the side.
From its latest collaboration with Béis on a capsule travel collection to adding a new Honey Chicken to its menu, Chipotle has had a busy year. But it’s not taking a break just yet. There are still two weeks left of 2025, and the California-based chain is surprising fans with yet another new addition—and this time, it’s a whole new menu.
Chipotle Launches First-Ever High Protein Menu
Chiptole
For years, Chipotle has been the go-to spot for fans who crave a better-for-you meal that tastes delicious. Now, the restaurant is helping customers sneak even more protein into their meals by launching its first-ever High Protein Menu.
There’s no denying we are living in the golden age of protein. From protein-packed toaster pastries to cereal bowls chock-full of protein, it doesn’t seem like the trend is slowing down. According to Chipotle, “70 percent of Americans prioritize protein, with more than one-third increasing their intake over the past year.” So the new offerings couldn’t have come at a better time.
The High Protein Menu features the following items:
- Double High Protein Bowl: With 81 grams of protein, this burrito bowl features double Adobo Chicken, white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, tomato salsa, Monterey Jack cheese, and extra romaine lettuce.
- High Protein-High Fiber Bowl: This protein and fiber-packed bowl is made with Adobo Chicken, brown rice, black beans, fajita veggies, roasted chili-corn salsa, tomato salsa, and romaine lettuce.
- High-Protein, Low-Calorie Salad: This salad is low in calories but delivers 36 grams of protein. It features Adobo Chicken, Supergreens lettuce mix, fajita veggies, tomato salsa, and guacamole.
- Double High Protein Burrito: If you’re looking to amplify your protein intake in one meal, order this burrito that features 79 grams of protein. It is made with double Adobo Chicken, tomato salsa, fajita veggies, Monterey Jack cheese, and romaine lettuce.
- Adobo Chicken Taco: If tacos are your go-to order, try this new item with 15 grams of protein. A soft flour tortilla houses Adobo Chicken, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, Monterey Jack cheese, and romaine lettuce.
In addition to the high-protein lineup, Chipotle is debuting a new High Protein Cup featuring a small bowl of Adobo chicken pieces with 32 grams of protein. Eat it on its own or pair it with other Chipotle menu favorites for an extra power-packed meal.
“For years, guests have used Chipotle’s customizable offerings to build high protein and fiber-filled meals on their own,” said Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s president and chief brand officer, in a press release. “This curated menu brings that fan behavior to the forefront with clean ingredients and flexible portions, making protein and other dietary goals easier to reach in just a few taps.”
Fans across the United States and Canada can head to Chipotle and order from the High Protein Menu starting on Tuesday, Dec. 23. Not only are the new items the perfect way to get an extra boost of protein in, but they make healthy eating easier than ever this holiday season.
