While Shirley Temples and dirty sodas have been dominating soda shelves this winter, brands like Canada Dry and Slice are providing an escape from the February cold with plenty of new releases reminiscent of warmer weather. Canada Dry brought back its Strawberry Fruit Splash ginger ale permanently, and Slice introduced a new tropical pineapple, passionfruit, and citrus Pacific Pop. Now, 7Up is leaning into the sunny flavors of spring and summer with a brand new soda flavor—and fans can’t wait to try it.
Keurig Dr Pepper Is Dropping 7Up Mandarin Orange
Citrus continues to be the it flavor, especially for soda sippers who love a beverage that’s as flavor-forward as it is refreshing. And while 7Up is one of the brightest, crispiest soda options out there, the brand is diving in further with a vibrant new flavor: 7Up Endless Summer Mandarin Orange.

A flavorful combo of classic lemon-lime and juicy mandarin, 7Up’s newest seasonal flavor brings a crisp and refreshing taste that just screams summer. Whether you’re curled up on the couch and dreaming of warmer weather or hitting the beach, this lighter twist on a nostalgic orange soda could be the ideal addition to your drink rotation.
As someone whose go-to fountain soda growing up was half-orange soda, half-7Up, I’m especially excited for the lemon-lime soda’s newest iteration—and I’m not the only one.
“Immediately yes,” wrote Instagram user @snackolator on a post showcasing the new soda. “Mandarin Orange 7Up is arriving soon and I cannot wait to grab this for the summer!”
“Mandarin Orange 7Up? Yes please!” commented another user on an Instagram post from @snackwire sharing the news.
The soda will be available in 12-ounce cans as both regular and zero-sugar varieties, but there is a catch. Rather than heading to your favorite grocery store to stock up, the new flavor will be exclusive to Kroger-owned stores, which means that you may be out of luck if you don’t live near a Kroger, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Ralphs, or any other store in the Kroger family. But if past releases are any indication, there’s a chance this new 7Up could appear at more retailers down the line.
Though we don’t have official confirmation on Mandarin Orange 7Up’s release date yet, the soda brand debuted last year’s 7Up Endless Summer iteration—which was watermelon and strawberry-flavored—in Kroger stores beginning in April. For now, I’ll be sipping on my beloved 7Up Tropical while eagerly awaiting the new citrus-centric drop, and all of the other new sodas coming this summer, too.
