Paramount+ has a ton of movies. It’s honestly the best aspect of the streaming service, which offers decades of older movies in addition to the latest releases. It’s also adding new movies every month, so chances are, there’s always something new for you to watch.

In short, whether you want to start a weekend movie marathon or find a new favorite film, Paramount+ has you covered. I’ve looked through the list of everything new to Paramount+ in January 2026 and found three movies in particular worth adding to the watchlist this weekend. There’s a new release you might have missed last week that’s still worth a watch, in addition to a pair of modern masterpieces.

So without further delay, here are the three new to Paramount+ movies you need to stream this weekend.

“The Running Man” might be a familiar name to you. Originally a Stephen King novel (under the pseudonym Richard Bachman), it was quickly adapted into a 1987 action movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

But that version wasn’t an especially faithful adaptation, and this newer take starring Glen Powell is far more in line with the original story. It’s set in a dystopian near-future version of America (the novel is set in 2025) where the economy is broken, and corporations rule what has become a police state. To pacify the masses, the media network in control has created FreeVee, which bombards everyone with endless entertainment, including the deadly game show, “The Running Man.”

It’s a game that basically nobody survives, but Ben Richards (Glen Powell) is willing to take that risk to provide for his family. While “The Running Man” falls short of its potential as an examination of late-stage capitalism, it still manages to be a passable movie that’s worth checking out now that it’s on Paramount+.

    ‘Baby Driver’ (2017)

    Watch On

“Baby Driver” is one of Edgar Wright’s best movies to date, and features a ton of great performances. It stars Ansel Elgort as Baby, a getaway driver for a crew of Atlanta criminals led by local kingpin Doc (Kevin Spacey). Between jobs, he meets Debora (Lily James), a waitress at Bo’s Diner, and decides it’s time for him to make his own getaway — with her.

Of course, just because Baby wants out of his life of crime doesn’t mean it’s that easy to get away for good. Come for the loaded cast that also features Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx, stay for the action thriller’s excellent car chases.

You’ve probably heard of the Zodiac Killer. This notorious serial killer terrorized the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1960s and early 1970s, killing at least five but potentially as many as 37.

Aside from the horrible nature of the killings themselves, the Zodiac Killer was also known for sending letters to Bay Area newspapers, demanding they print the letters or else they would commit more heinous acts. That’s what “Zodiac” focuses on, with a story centered around political cartoonist Robert Graysmith (Jake Gyllenhaal), crime reporter Paul Avery (Robert Downey Jr.), San Francisco police inspector Dave Toschi (Mark Ruffalo) and his partner Bill Armstrong (Anthony Edwards). It’s David Fincher’s best film, depending on who you ask, and it’s certainly a must-watch now that it’s part of your Paramount+ subscription.
